Oh cool weather, I have missed you! Cornbread is always one of my go to’s for my winter recipes. Especially when making a delicious chili. Today Im sharing a delicious cornbread recipe that the entire family will love. Even the kiddos!
This simple cornbread recipe will make everyone’s tummy’s super happy. All you need a couple boxes of premade cornbread mix, and a few ingredients to jazz them up with, and viola! Dinner is served!
Brandon was a little nervous because he can’t handle spicy nor does he like “green stuff” in his cornbread. But he had one bite, and was hooked!

Chedder Jalapeno Corn Bread
- 2 boxes premade cornbread mix your choice
- 1 1/3 cup milk (according to box directions)
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese
- 1 fresh jalapeno (seeded and diced)
1.Heat up your oven to 400 degrees.
2.Place your 9 inch metal baking pan in the oven with a tablespoon of butter. You want your pan hot when you put in the cornbread.
3.Combine the mixes, milk jalapenos and cheese untiled mixed.
4.Pour into hot pan.
5.Top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
6. Bake for 20 minutes. Serve.
